Joseph Fiumara, REHS

With nearly two decades of experience in local public health, Joseph Fiumara has built a career centered on protecting community health through strong environmental health systems and accountable public service.

Since joining UCo Health in 2016 and becoming Director in 2018, he has led efforts to strengthen programs, improve transparency, and adapt services to an ever-changing public health landscape.

Drawing on experience from Wyoming, North Dakota, and Washington, Joseph brings a broad regional perspective to his leadership. 

He is committed to continuous improvement and to working in partnership with staff, community organizations, and residents to advance a healthier Umatilla County.
