Domestic Well Testing


Applications for free well test vouchers are available for residents in the LUBGWMA (Lower Umatilla Basin Groundwater Management Area) portion of Umatilla County. This consists of Hermiston-97838, Stanfield-97875, Echo-97826 & Umatilla-97882. OHA is offering one testing voucher per well.  After you complete the voucher application and receive a free well testing voucher, it will be time to schedule a test for the water. The Umatilla County Health Department can help to facilitate this process.  Please refer to the scheduling section below to schedule a test. Additionally, you may contact our office and we will help to schedule this for you.

Getting to Know Your Well

Testing your well water is a good idea to ensure a safe and a reliable source of drinking water.  Well testing is a process that measures the presence and amount of certain contaminants in the drinking water of privately owned wells.
